5 Delicious Spinach Recipes

  1. Stuffed Chicken
  • Chicken breasts (as many as you desire).
  • 3 oz of spinach – (This amount may vary depending on how many chicken breasts you are using, so adjust accordingly).
  • 2 oz of feta cheese.
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Rinse, drain and chop the spinach leaves. Cut the skin, or first layer of meat, on the outside of the chicken loose enough for you to be able to put the mixture underneath it. Combine the feta cheese and spinach to make a small mixture base, this should then be rubbed under the layer of chicken skin. Place the chicken breast in a frying pan until it’s properly cooked.

2. Spinach and Feta Salad

  • 10 oz of spinach.
  • 3 oz of feta cheese.
  • 1 oz of butter.

Put the spinach and butter in a frying pan for a few minutes until it’s heated, then add the feta and serve in a bowl with salad such as lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers and so on.

3. Spinach Soup

  • 7 oz of spinach.
  • 2 chopped onions and carrots.
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • 5 oz of lentils.
  • Sliced bacon.

Cook the onions and carrots in the oil for 10 minutes, boil the lentils until they are soft and add the spinach in after. Combine this mixture with the onions and carrots in a blender and pour into a bowl. Fry the bacon, slice it and add it on top.

4. Stir Fry

  • 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil.
  • Sliced red pepper and garlic cloves.
  • 7 oz of tiger prawns.
  • 3 oz of spinach.
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.

Preheat a wok and throw in the garlic gloves, peppers and oil. Once they become soft, add in the tiger prawns, spinach and soy sauce and cook until they are golden.

5. Pasta Spinach

  • Chopped and garlic cloves.
  • 7 oz of penne pasta.
  • 10 oz of diced tomatoes.
  • 4 oz of spinach.
  • 0.5 oz of shredded parmesan.
  • ½ teaspoon of chili flakes.
  • ½ teaspoon of oregano.

Heat up a frying pan and add in the chili flakes, garlic and onions and let them cook for a few minutes in the oil. Cook the pasta with the tomatoes and oregano and add the spinach into the pan after the pasta begins to soften. Combine the rest of the ingredients into the pasta pan and let it all cook for a couple minutes. Serve with the grated parmesan.
